Moong Dal Ladu Recipe by Gowri Chebbi
For a delightful Moong Dhal Laddu, you'll need:
- 1 cup Moong dhal flour
- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 6-8 cashew nuts
- ½ cup ghee
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
Start by frying the Moong Dhal flour in ghee until it releases its distinct aroma and turns slightly brown. In the same pan, fry the cashew nuts until golden brown. Meanwhile, grind the sugar into a fine powder. Once the flour mixture cools, incorporate the powdered sugar, fried cashews, and cardamom powder. Mix well and then mold the mixture into small round balls to form your Moong Dhal Laddus. Enjoy this traditional treat once they're set!
